The Annatations

I’m so excited to finally start this little corner of the internet, and even more excited to make it something I can come back to every week. From here on out, I’ll be updating the blog weekly with little things that make life feel happier, more organized, and a little more put together.

And what better time to start than September?

September has always felt like a fresh start in my brain. The air gets a little cooler, routines begin again, new seasons are around the corner, and suddenly everything feels like it has a clean slate. So, in the spirit of new beginnings, get off your couch: wipe down your surfaces, blow out your hair, put on an outfit that makes you feel good, make your bed, and play your favorite music a little too loud.

It doesn’t have to be a dramatic life makeover. Sometimes a clean space, freshly washed hair, and a little time spent taking care of yourself is enough to make everything feel new again. I’m sharing some of my Early September favorites below—a little collection of everything I’ve been loving lately, from cozy comfort items and everyday athleisure to those little in-between things that just make life feel better.

September is your reminder that you can ALWAYS start over. You can pick up a new hobby, change your routine, clean out your closet, or simply decide that this week is going to feel a little different.

And for me, my fresh start is this blog.

Welcome to The Annatations.

Embroidered Terry Cloth Robe

A terry cloth robe with embroidery blends comfort, absorbency, and a touch of personalized style. Here’s a concise guide to features, styling, care, and buying tips.

How To Take Care Of It:

  • Washing: Machine wash warm or cold with like colors. Use mild detergent; avoid bleach on colored robes.

  • Drying: Tumble dry low to medium. Remove promptly to reduce wrinkles. Air-dry to preserve embroidery and extend fabric life.

  • Ironing: Iron on the wrong side or use a pressing cloth over embroidery to avoid crushing stitches.

  • Avoid fabric softeners if you want to preserve towel absorbency—softeners can reduce water absorption over time.

Buying tips

  • Check GSM for desired weight.

  • Inspect embroidery quality: even stitches, secure backing, minimal thread tails.

  • Look for pre-washed or pre-shrunk cotton to avoid size changes.

  • Consider return policy and care instructions—embroidered items may have special handling.
